AI & Recording Notice

StomaGrid Tech Unit · Version 1.0 · Last updated 10 October 2026 · Pune, Maharashtra, India

1. AI features

StomaGrid offers an AI ambient scribe, a Magic Intake that turns typed or spoken case details into proposed entries, and an AI voice receptionist. All of them are optional, and a clinic can switch each one off.

2. The doctor stays in charge

AI output is a proposal. The doctor reviews it and accepts or rejects it, and nothing enters the patient record or bill until it is accepted. AI output is not medical advice and is not a diagnosis.

3. Voice calls and recording

Every AI voice call begins with a notice that an AI assistant is answering and that the call may be recorded.

The AI voice receptionist answers only when the clinic is closed. It tells the caller that the clinic will call back after opening, collects the caller's name, number and reason, and alerts the doctor and clinic. A caller who does not want to be recorded can end the call and contact the clinic during opening hours.

4. Emergencies

The AI receptionist does not give medical advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.

5. Recordings and transcripts

Recordings and transcripts belong to the clinic. They are kept on the same terms as clinic records: for the subscription term plus a 30-day export window, and deleted on a verified request except where the law requires retention. See the Privacy Policy.

6. AI providers and training

StomaGrid requires its AI providers not to use clinic data to train their models. Providers include Google (Gemini) and, for voice, Sarvam and Bolna, and they may process data outside India.

7. Accuracy

AI can make mistakes. We measure the share of AI notes that doctors accept without editing, and we do not claim that AI output is always correct.

8. Your choices

A clinic can switch any AI feature off at any time. Questions: Contact Support.
